When I breed my Bengals I always used to show them under the G.C.C.F., however the Pixiebobs are not yet recognised by them, so being absolutely crazy about showing I found out about the TICA. The TICA recognise pixiebobs which was brilliant news to me.
When showing under the G.C.C.F. you are not allowed to watch the judges when they are judging, this means that you have to leave your precious babies unattended with strangers! With the TICA the judges judge in front of you and are eager to get you more involved.
The judges that judge for TICA have to train for 7 years (!!!) and at this present time there is not yet a qualified English TICA judge! This means that judges from all over the world come to England to judge our cats. In the time that I have been showing my Pixiebobs I have met American, French, Austrian, Russian and the list goes on.
In the 4 years that I have been showing with TICA I have been all around the country and have made some really good friends. You also have the chance to show abroad if you would like to. This means it gives me a chance to get away from my mad house! TICA shows are usually 2 days back to back which means that there are two chances of winning as our cats are judged both days.
